Why “Hive”??? A hive by definition is a place swarming with activity. I like to think of it as a community. We all have a hive: A place where we go to be ourselves and connect with others in a way that feels like home.
I read a story about a bee keeper who found three little bees stuck in the honey he gathered from the hive. He scooped them out knowing they would probably be stuck in the honey and eventually die. When checking back later he discovered that some of the other bees were cleaning off bees covered in honey. After coming back a short time later, only one bee was left, still being tended to by her bee sisters(99% of bees in a hive are female). Coming back later still, that one little bee had been cleaned enough to fly away.
That my friends is the very definition of community. My dream for this “Hive” is to be able to help others find that place, where they feel like they belong and can contribute. I want us to work together as a community of people who are all striving toward the same goals.
